Biden reiterates US commitment to Ukraine to Zelensky

The presidents of the United States and Ukraine, Joe Biden and Volodymyr Zelensky, had a telephone conversation on Sunday in which the leaders agreed to continue diplomatic efforts to resolve the current Ukrainian crisis, the White House said in a statement. Ria Novosti.

“President Biden reiterated to President Zelensky the commitment of the United States to protect Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. “Ukraine,” the White House said in a statement following Biden’s telephone conversation with Zelensky.

During the talks, Biden also promised the Ukrainian president a “swift and decisive” response from the United States and its allies to “any Russian attack on Ukraine.”

It is noted that the communication between the two presidents lasted 50 minutes, according to the White House.
