Exclude the Russia from G20the group of the twenty largest economies in the world, suggested the Poland to officials of USAwith Warsaw claiming, in fact, that this proposal received a “positive response”.
The Minister of Economic Development and Technology of the country Piotr Novak said in a statement that the issue was discussed in the meetings it had last week in Washington, broadcasts the APE BPE, which cites the Reuters agency.
“In the meetings with Gina Raimondo (US Secretary of Commerce), among other things, we proposed to exclude Russia from the G20 and we received a positive response. The issue will be taken over by the president Joe BidenNovak told reporters in Warsaw.
So far there is no reaction from the US Department of Commerce, according to the same sources.
Although he did not comment specifically on the Polish announcement, a US source told Reuters that Russia had violated international rules because of war in Ukraineand therefore will have to suffer the consequences in international forums.
