Big Brother Vip 2021: Alex Belli, Soleil Sorge and the (fake) listen-saving gossip

It always arrives, in all editions of the Big Brother Vip, the moment in which it is necessary to scrape the bottom of the barrel to make up for the lack of topics to discuss in the episode and, who knows why and who knows why, that barrel almost always has the appearance of a gossip with a high rate of disbelief. In this round, to interpret the role of the protagonists are Alex Belli and Soleil Sorge, both busy with others outside, both forced to stop inside the House, both, more than moved by real involvement, prey to an autoral team that every week has to make triple pike jumps to fill four hours and go live . Of course, gossip, if it can be called that, is seasoned with an all too enthralling pathos and from a series of burning findings that should complicate the plot by pushing the public to become attached to the story to never let it go.

And so, in the episode aired on November 29, the affair became “complicated” with the shots of Belli’s partner in an intimate attitude with a family friend published in the newspaper directed by the conductor of the Big Brother Vip: leaving out the fact that the aforementioned photos, rather than stolen, seem to be the result of a very patinated cutlery, it is clear that all this would deserve a separate spin-off if only reality shows did not take themselves too seriously, convinced that the home audience is made up of a dull flock that should take the bait at any nonsense that is broadcast live (the day in which we will get rid of this absurd principle of television verisimilitude it will be too late anyway). In conclusion, al Big Brother Vip a little bit of everything is fine to keep viewers hooked: from real or alleged gossip to the return of several repeat competitors who have decided to set foot on the scene of the crime to make up for the probable forfeit of more attractive competitors.

The effort, mind you, is commendable: the Big Brother Vip, which will air until March 2022, has two weekly appointments, and it is natural that this requires a superhuman commitment to find new footholds and new inputs to discuss and comment on. It is a bit of a shame, however, that weaker competitors such as Lulu are almost always the ones to pay the consequences, who in the course of the last episode not only had to defend herself from the accusation of having offended public decency for saying a bad word (sacrilege!), but also had to put up with the scowl of Manuel Bortuzzo for having won televoting. In short, in war, in love (and on television) everything is broth and everything is allowed, but you must always set yourself a limit not to be exceeded, otherwise the risk is to lose control and crash who knows where.
