Big screen and NFC for only $40: Huawei introduced Band 7

Today, April 28, the Chinese company Huawei officially introduced to the world its latest Band 7 fitness bracelet, which looks noticeably different from its predecessor and is the lightest wearable device in the manufacturer’s arsenal. With a body thickness of 9.99 mm, the tracker weighs only 16 grams, providing a potential buyer with a wide range of options in terms of tracking physical activity and vital signs. However, it is worth immediately clarifying that this bracelet does not provide any incredible functions that competitors do not have.

For example, Band 7 is able to track changes in heart rate, as well as the level of blood oxygen saturation. There is also Huawei’s proprietary technology called TruSleep 2.0, which can analyze the user’s activity during sleep, providing detailed information about its quality. Additionally, there is monitoring of the user’s stress level, and for sports fans, as many as 96 sports modes have been added (steps and calories are also counted). This will allow you to more accurately monitor your activity and calories that are burned during a run or workout.

The main feature of the new sports bracelet, the company considers a rectangular AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 1.47 inches. It really has become a little larger compared to the Band 6, but in fact it will only be noticeable when comparing the two gadgets directly. And the novelty is sold in four color options, boasts NFC, 14 days of battery life and a relatively low price – the basic version of the device (without NFC) is sold for $ 40. Those who want to pay with their gadget instead of a card will have to pay $47 for the NFC version.
