A billionaire believed to have died in a skiing accident may actually be alive and living with a younger woman in Moscow, new evidence suggests. Karl Erivan Haub disappeared in the Alps on April 7, 2018. He was 58 years old and the owner and CEO of the Tengelmann Group. Haub — born to German parents in Tacoma, Washington, and educated in Switzerland — was married with two grown children at the time of his disappearance, the New York Post reports. It should be noted that in 2021 a court in Germany officially declared him dead. Now, however, the Cologne Public Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation into allegations that Haub's brother, Christian, provided false information when he said he had no information at all to suggest his brother might still be alive, the Daily explained Beast.
