Binance Exchange Announces Opening of Two Offices in Brazil

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced that it opened offices on October 3 in two Brazilian cities: Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

About 150 employees are going to work in the new offices, although at the beginning of the year their number was no more than 60 people. Many employees will interact with the clients of the exchange as technical support. Binance announced that it intends to enter the emerging cryptocurrency market in Brazil, which has more than 34.5 million users, and this may accelerate the adoption of crypto assets in the continent.

The management of the exchange assured that the platform operates in full compliance with the regulatory framework of Brazil. Compliance with regulations is the only way that will allow the cryptocurrency industry to develop, and people to legally enjoy the benefits of blockchain and digital assets, the exchange management says.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao
wrote on Twitter that in parallel with the opening of new offices in Brazil, the platform burned down LUNC worth $1.8 million and signed a memorandum of cooperation with Kazakhstan.

In September, Binance held training seminars for law enforcement officials from around the world to help them identify digital asset crimes. The crypto exchange is struggling to build good relationships with international regulators.
