Binance France CEO leaves

The executive director of the French division of the Binance exchange, Stephanie Cabossioras, has left the company. Her resignation was confirmed by the company’s president, David Prince.

Princey commented on a post by popular blogger Owen Simonin, also known as Hasheur. He was the first to announce the resignation of the top manager, noting that Kabossioras had resigned from the company’s board of directors.

In a comment to the publication Bloomberg she confirmed this information, but refused to give the reason for her decision. Princey thanked her for her contribution and wished her good luck in her future work.

Kabossioras joined the Binance team in April 2022 as General Counsel. In the fall of that year, she was appointed executive director.

In June 2023, information appeared that the French division of the exchange came under the close attention of local authorities. The company was accused of money laundering and failure to comply with KYC requirements.

Wave of resignations at Binance

In recent months, the exchange has experienced an outflow of personnel, including members of top management. These include, for example, the head of product and design, vice president for Eastern Europe and regional director for the CIS, as well as the CEO of Binance.US.

The head of the global exchange, Changpeng Zhao, said that these were “ordinary personnel changes.” He also repeatedly called not to believe fakes and not to spread them.
