Russian users of Binance reported that they have been unable to withdraw funds to ruble cards for several weeks. The exchange cites technical reasons.
The site is working on integrating a new fiat gateway, but the timing of the withdrawal recovery is unclear.
“The integration process takes a long time. We will publish a separate notification as soon as the function for direct withdrawal of rubles to the card is restored, ”Binance representatives said.
They emphasized that it is possible to withdraw rubles through Payeer and Advcash systems.
The support service advises users to use a p2p platform, but this solution is not suitable for everyone.
Binance added support for the ruble in October 2019 in partnership with Advcash. In December of the same year, trading pairs with the ruble appeared on the floor.
In February 2020, Binance opened the possibility of buying cryptocurrencies from a Visa card for rubles.
In September 2020, Roskomnadzor notified the stock exchange about the inclusion in the register of prohibited sites, but in January 2021 the court canceled this decision.
Earlier, the Ukrainian monobank suspended accepting SEPA payments from Binance due to the ban on the side of foreign intermediary banks.
