Binance left another top manager

Crypto exchange Binance has lost another top manager, Mayur Kamat, the company’s global head of products and design, has resigned. RBC Crypto with reference to The Block.

“We confirm that Mayur has stepped down from his position. We are grateful to him for helping Binance through our most explosive growth and wish him all the best,” said a Binance spokesperson.

Kamat himself confirmed his departure, noting that he was leaving Binance for “personal reasons.”

Mayur Kamat joined Binance in April 2022 after working for companies such as Google, Microsoft, and Agoda. He helped the company grow from 80 million to over 150 million users in 1.5 years through the launch of several products, the publication says.

In July, it was reported about the dismissals of several top managers of the Binance crypto exchange at once. The head of the crypto exchange Changpeng Zhao said that the company continues to recruit employees.

Binance later announced the appointment of Eleanor Hughes to the position of General Counsel of the company.
