Interest in cryptocurrencies can be an advantage in a romantic relationship. This was stated by 83% of respondents in the Binance exchange’s Valentine’s Day poll.

The study involved 2600 people aged 18 to 46 years from 6 to 9 February. They were asked nine questions about their attitudes towards cryptocurrencies, dating and romantic relationships.
The results showed that:
- the vast majority (83% of respondents) would rather receive a gift card in cryptocurrency than roses or chocolate for Valentine’s Day;
- 70% said they would choose to go on a date with someone who is interested in digital assets;
- almost 60% said they find people interested in cryptocurrencies attractive as it indicates they are “tech-savvy” and open to innovation;
- 38% of those surveyed said that their partners are as passionate about cryptocurrencies as they are, and 27% believe that they have become guides to Web3, digital assets and blockchain.
In 2022, the first wedding took place in the Decentraland metaverse. The event was attended by a representative of the court, witnesses and about 2,000 guests.
Before that, a Reddit user lost his wife due to her refusal to sell bitcoin at $60,000.
