Binance received a license to operate in Kazakhstan

Binance Kazakhstan cryptocurrency exchange received full license DATF from the Astana Financial Services Agency. The corresponding post was published by the company’s CEO, Richard Teng.

The license allows Binance Kazakhstan to operate a cryptocurrency trading and exchange platform, as well as offer broker and custodian services.

The verification process for obtaining a DATF license took place in several stages: external financial audit, certification according to the standard ISO and compliance with numerous regulations.

The decision to issue a full license was subject to regulatory approval.

“Very grateful for Kazakhstan’s forward-thinking approach to financial innovation. A great milestone for cryptocurrencies,” Teng wrote.

Kazakhstan became the first country in Central Asia where Binance received a license.

In May, Binance Kazakhstan received international ISO certificates in the field of information security and confidential information management.

Earlier, the exchange and the national postal operator Kazpost signed a memorandum of understanding. The parties expressed mutual interest in the implementation of innovative financial services in Kazakhstan.
