The largest crypto exchange in the world has notified users from France, Italy, Poland and Spain about the delisting of privacy tokens on national exchange trading platforms.

A Binance spokesperson said that restrictions are being introduced for 12 privacy tokens: Decred (DCR), Dash (DASH), Zcash (ZEC), Horizen (ZEN), PIVX (PIVX), Navcoin (NAV), Secret (SCRT), Verge (XVG) ), Firo (FIRO), BEAM. (BEAM), Monero (XMR) and MobileCoin (MOB).

Starting June 26, these tokens will no longer be available for trading to Binance customers in all four jurisdictions.

“We are obliged to comply with the laws and regulations of European countries prohibiting the trading of crypto-assets of increased anonymity. Therefore, as of June 26, 2023, customers residing in France, Italy, Poland, and Spain will no longer be able to buy or sell CAE on our platform,” a Binance spokesperson announced.

Earlier, the cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced the imminent shutdown of 11 trading pairs with the Australian dollar. Access to trading pairs will be disabled on June 1st.
