Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange, has become the official sponsor of the Canadian pop artist and his After Hours Til Dawn tour.
Binance announcedwhich became the sponsor of Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, known as The Weeknd, whose tour is due to begin in July 2022.
Binance is about to partner with think tank HXOUSE to release an exclusive collection of non-fungible tokens dedicated to The Weeknd performances. By purchasing virtual tickets, fans will automatically have access to the artist’s unique collection and commemorative NFTs.
The 32-year-old artist is now one of the most popular artists in the US and Canada. During his musical career, he has received four Grammy Awards, six American Music Awards and an Oscar nomination. After Hours Till Down will be the singer’s seventh tour.
As part of the upcoming collaboration, Binance will donate $2 million to a humanitarian fund run by The Weeknd to address food programs for the hungry. In addition, The Weeknd and Binance are creating a special collection of NFTs and plan to contribute up to 5% of sales to the fund.
In addition to supporting popular music artists, Binance has become the title sponsor of the Binance Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Awareness educational tour in Africa.
