The largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance is going to begin maintenance of its wallet on the Ethereum network (ERC20) on October 24, starting at 7:00 (UTC). The work is expected to take about two hours.
The administration of the trading platform officially notified Ethereum network users of the introduction of temporary restrictions on the input and output of ETH “in connection with scheduled technical work to maintain the ETH ERC20 crypto wallet.”
Representatives of Binance reassure: temporary restriction of access to deposits in ETN is a regular event that serves to facilitate and speed up technological work. To be precise, the suspension of access, which will occur on October 24, will begin at 6:55 am UTC (9:55 Moscow time). It will not affect exchange transactions with digital assets, the site team assures.
Regular updates and maintenance of critical cryptocurrency services help create a more reliable and secure exchange environment, Binance emphasizes.
Previously, the Binance exchange notified clients that it would cease issuing and servicing the Binance VISA debit card from mid-December 2023.
