A Netflix announced this Thursday (2) its new Brazilian production. “Bionics ” is a science fiction that takes place in a dystopian future in which robotics changes the way of life of a population.
The cast is made up of Jessica Córes, Bruno Gagliasso, Christian Malheiros, Gabz and Klebber Toledo. The production was directed by Alfonso Poyat, known for the film “Omens of a Crime”, starring Anthony Hopkins. “Bionics” will premiere on May 29th on Netflix.
The streaming service released a carousel of photos in which the actors appear in futuristic scenarios, with robotic body parts and fight scenes.
According to Netflix, in the plot the bionic prosthetics used by the characters change the way they practice sports. Within this context, the story is told of two sisters who compete in the long jump, but the creation of a rivalry between them causes problems in their trajectory.
