Bitcoin Dominance Dropped To Half-year Low

Bitcoin tried to resume expansion earlier this week and break above $ 60,000. However, the coin was able to only briefly exceed $ 58,000, and then rolled back again.

Today, March 30, BTC is holding around $ 57,600. The Bitcoin Dominance Index is now at its lowest level since the end of October last year. This figure fell to 57.8%, according to data from the CoinGecko service.

We are at times of the next “altseason”, analysts predict.

The largest altcoins Ether (ETH) and Binance Coin (BNB) have already risen in price to $ 1,800 and $ 273, respectively. Cryptocurrency capitalization, excluding bitcoin, has grown to $ 811 billion.

According to trader Michael van de Poppe, altcoins will be able to renew their highs this summer. The same expert predicts that broadcast will show the best results in the medium term.

A scenario is not excluded in which the ETH rate will grow to $ 5,000 and even to $ 10,000. One of the growth drivers for this coin may be the recent decision of the Visa payment system to use the Ethereum blockchain for settlement transactions with the USDC stablecoin.
