A Bitcoin follower known as Hodlonaut has achieved a final victory in his case against Australian entrepreneur Craig Wright, who has proclaimed himself Satoshi Nakamoto.

Hodlonaut wrote on social media X that the five-year-old trial with Craig Wright has finally come to an end. Wright refused to appeal, meaning that the entrepreneur gave up the fight to become the creator of Bitcoin.

In May 2019, Wright sued Hodlonaut over his social media posts. The user called Wright a fraud and questioned whether the businessman could be working on the creation of Bitcoin. In 2022, the Oslo court sided with Hodlonaut. The Norwegian court ruled that the user had sufficient factual grounds to claim that Wright was lying. The matter was complicated by the fact that in June 2021, a British court recognized Wright's rights to the Bitcoin White Paper.

“I just spoke on the phone with my Norwegian lawyer. Craig Wright refused to appeal the Norwegian court's decision! My victory in 2022 is now final and enforceable. This case began on May 19, 2019 and continued until today. I am very happy! Now I just need to get a dismissal, that is, a win in the UK case, and I can finally move on,”
wrote Hodlonaut.

Let us recall that in March 2024, the High Court of London rendered a verdict in favor of the Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA) and ruled that Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto.
