Since the summer of last year, the hashrate and difficulty of bitcoin mining have been growing almost constantly. Even in the case of a decrease in complexity, the indicator fell by no more than 1.5%. This is due to the ban on mining in China in the spring of 2021, after which the hashrate and difficulty dropped significantly within a month.

During the recalculation of complexity on March 3 last year, the indicator fell immediately by 27.9%. After that, Chinese miners began to move equipment to other countries and the overall Bitcoin hashrate began to recover. Already in October last year, he returned to the figures before the mining bans in China.

Recall that in April, bitcoin miners earned $1.16 billion, which is 4.3% less than in March. But the income of ETH miners increased by 6.2% – they earned $1.33 billion.
