Bitcoin mining difficulty is on the rise again

As a result of the next recalculation, the difficulty of mining the first cryptocurrency increased by 0.12%. The indicator reached 52.39 tons.

The average hashrate since the previous change was 374.85 EH/s. The range between the blocks was 10 minutes provided by the algorithm.

According to Glassnode, the smoothed 7-day moving average reached 377.6 EH/s. In June, the hashrate approached 400 EH/s.

In July, mining company Bitdeer completed the construction of a Gedu bitcoin mining facility in Bhutan. About 11,000 devices are already stable at the facility.

Earlier, the mining company Genesis Digital Assets launched three new data centers in eastern South Carolina to mine the first cryptocurrency.
