Bitcoin price rose to $31,000

The Bitcoin (BTC) rate increased by about 2.5% per day, reaching $31 thousand in pairs with the stablecoin Tether USD (USDT) on the Binance exchange. At 9:20 Moscow time, BTC is trading at $30.8; over the past week, the first cryptocurrency has increased in price by more than 11%, writes RBC Crypto.

Bitcoin’s capitalization is above $600 billion, with the total market capitalization of the crypto market being $1.16 trillion. BTC market share for the first time since April 2021 exceeded 52%.

The sharp rise in the price of the first cryptocurrency provoked a massive liquidation of margin positions of traders on crypto exchanges. According to Coinglassover the past 24 hours, traders who bet on the fall of the BTC rate collectively lost more than $84 million.

Other cryptocurrencies are also growing in price: for example, Ethereum (ETH) reached $1.7 thousand, BNB rose to $222, XRP from Ripple costs $0.53 Cardano (ADA) – $0.26, Solana token (SOL) is trading at $31 ,2, having risen in price by almost 40% in a week.

The leader in growth among large crypto assets was Chainlink (LINK), occupying 12th place in the Coinmarketcap rating. The token is trading at $10.78, its value has increased by almost 12% in a day, and by more than 40% in a week.
