More than $ 44,000 was returned by bitcoin for the first time since the end of last week, as optimism about the de-escalation of tensions between Russia and Ukraine rekindled investors’ appetite for more risky assets.
Reports indicate that some Russian troops have begun withdrawing from the border with Ukraine in order to return to their bases, which is seen as the beginning of the escalation of the crisis between the two countries, but also between Russia and NATO.
The world’s largest cryptocurrency, based on capitalization, rose more than 4% on Tuesday and traded at $ 44,329.
The other cryptocurrencies also record significant gains. In particular, ethereum gained 6% to $ 3,121, XRP gained 3.23%, Cardano gained 5.50%, while Solana’s rise exceeded 5.80%.
