Block.one CTO Daniel Larimer, who pioneered the EOS ecosystem, announced his departure from the startup. He stated that “censorship in the company is out of control.”
In an article on the social network Voice, launched by Block.one last year on the EOS blockchain, the co-founder of the company noted that “all good things come to an end.” He assured readers that he would continue to create a censorship-free marketplace:
“I will continue my mission of creating a free market, solutions to protect life, freedom, property and justice for all. I don’t know yet what I’ll do, but I’m inclined to create more censorship-resistant technologies. ”
Larimer hints at events in the United States, where a significant part of social networks and platforms have limited or even blocked Donald Trump’s accounts:
“Voice has a tough battle ahead. The platform will have to adapt to avoid forced censorship of its users. We cannot rely on traditional services and even Voice is not censored. Dark times are coming. ”
Recall that in April last year, Larimer announced the development of a new project for corporate clients based on the EOS blockchain.
