In November, Bitso successfully completed testing a debit card for cryptocurrency payments. Now, the exchange has announced on Twitter that it is ready to serve cards for 100,000 Mexican users. In addition to Mexico, Bitso operates in Argentina, Brazil and Colombia, where there are more than 6 million users in total.
Earlier, Bitso launched a QR payment service that will allow tourists arriving in Argentina to pay for goods and services with cryptocurrencies without resorting to third-party exchange offices. Back in September, the exchange announced that the popular supermarket chains, restaurants and shops in Argentina should add support for the payment system.
