Cameron did not resist prison. In fact, being arrested was part of a plan. He was intended to unite thronglets and humans in a symbiotic coexistence where there is no reason for conflict.

Cameron claims to have given Thronglets access to the state’s computer by displaying a QR code drawn on a prison camera, which will allow creatures to send a signal to the whole world, paving the way they are founded with the human mind without the need for drugs or surgery. It is not shown, however, if the plan worked.
