Today, OnePlus opened pre-orders for the new OnePlus 9 smartphones in China, and tomorrow they can be ordered in the European region.
Deutsche Telekom and OnePlus have teamed up to offer so-called “blind pre-order” to those who wish. Fans are being asked to pay 1,111 euros to get the OnePlus 9 or OnePlus 9 Pro along with “tons of accessories.”
As we already reported, immediately after the start of accepting pre-orders in China, hundreds of thousands of people lined up for smartphones. OnePlus found that most users are replacing their smartphones after two years, which is why the company announced a two-year warranty for the new flagships.
The OnePlus 9 5G is expected to feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED FullHD + Hz screen, while the OnePlus 9 Pro 5G may have a 6.67-inch AMOLED QHD + screen with support for 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphones will be built on the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform and will receive up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of flash memory.
The main camera of the OnePlus 9, which was built with Hasselblad, includes Sony IMX789 and Sony IMX766 image sensors. The front camera is 16 megapixel. Smartphones will receive a 4500 mAh battery with support for fast charging technology.
The presentation of new products is expected on March 23.
