Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus cut the expectations of the band’s fans who were expecting a solo performance in Brazil – in addition to the show already confirmed at Lollapalooza next year.

He even answered a fan who recommended that the trio include eating açaí, coxinha and cheese bread in the script for their first visit to the country. “I’m going to do all the Brazil stuff,” Mark said.

Since 2020, the bassist has a Discord server where he occasionally appears to interact with Blink-182 fans.

Last Tuesday (11), the pop punk trio provoked an immense mobilization on the networks by announcing the return of singer Tom DeLonge, a new album and a world tour, with the unprecedented inclusion of Latin America between the scheduled dates.

Blink-182 even “punched” Lollapalooza Brasil, because the festival was already among the tour dates about an hour before the official announcement of the line-up with the artists of the 2023 edition.

Among the attractions of Lolla 2023 are singer Billie Eilish, who will also come to Brazil for the first time, and Canadian rapper Drake.

For now, it is possible to buy only tickets that include the three days of the festival – which will take place at the Interlagos Circuit, in São Paulo, between March 24th and 26th.
