Blinken: Russia pays ‘huge price’ in Ukraine war

THE Anthony Blinken in joint statements he made with Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels, he emphasized that Russia has paid an “enormous price” in animate and inanimate matter in the Ukraine war.

The US Secretary of State stated that “the number of Russian soldiers in Ukraine is huge and, unfortunately, President (of Russia, Vladimir) Putin has indicated that he will send even more: this is a huge price for Russia».

At the same time, as reported by the Reuters agency, the NATO secretary general urged the Allies to provide Ukrainian forces with winter equipment, such as clothing, tents and generators, so that Ukrainian soldiers can continue fighting when the weather turns cold. In winter, the average temperature in most of the country drops below zero. It is not uncommon for the mercury to drop as low as -15 degrees Celsius.

Winter is comingwill be hard and therefore we need to continue supplying (the Ukrainians) with weapons and ammunition but also with winter uniforms, tents, generators and all the equipment they need for the winter,” he told reporters.

This is also done to ensure that we have the weapons, the ammunition, the capabilities to prevent (aggressive actions) and to defend ourselves,” he added.
