Blinken: The changes requested by Hamas in the US proposal for a truce are unenforceable

The changes requested by Hamas in the truce proposal presented by the US are “not significant” and include the complete withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza, a senior Hamas official told Reuters today. US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said yesterday Wednesday (12/6) that the Palestinian movement has proposed many changes to the US-backed truce proposal, pointing out that some of them are unworkable. However, he added that mediators are determined to bridge the differences. According to the Hamas official, among the changes the Palestinian movement is demanding is to present a list of 100 Palestinians serving long sentences in Israeli prisons who will be released under the deal.
