US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken today attacked his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, accusing him of spreading a “tsunami of disinformation” blaming Moscow for the escalation in Ukraine. “I regret that our colleague, Mr. Lavrov, left the room, not showing the courtesy to listen to us as we listened to him. And of course, our Russian colleague is very good at drowning listeners in a tsunami of misinformation,” said Mr. Blinken addressing the ministerial meeting of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) held in Malta. “Let us not allow him, nor anyone, to deceive us.
