In early March of this year, Blizzard Entertainment employees officially announced that they would soon tell about a very large update for the World of Warcraft game, and yesterday, April 19, the official trailer for the upcoming add-on called Dragonflight was published. The stumbling block of the future update is the dragons – according to the plot, they answered the call by returning to Azeroth in order to protect their homeland (Dragon Islands) from enemies. And gamers will need to explore this location, learn new secrets and go through many fresh quests. However, the presence of dragons does not end on the storyline alone.
In the Dragonflight add-on, developers will provide the audience of gamers with the opportunity to take advantage of a new flying vehicle – a rideable dragon. In total, there will be four different creatures on the island, and the player can gradually develop the skill of controlling a flying monster – if you raise the skill to the appropriate level, you can perform various tricks in the air. The developers also announced a completely redesigned talent system with a new specialization tree, a modified branch of the character’s crafts and professions, a revised interface, and, most importantly, an increase in the maximum level.
Naturally, as in any other updates, the developers promise, together with Dragonflight, to open the gates to new dungeons, where it will be possible to conduct raids for new loot and enemies. However, for some reason, the developers did not name the exact release date of the update – there is only information from insiders that Dragonflight will be launched on the main servers in November 2022. But you can leave an application for participation in beta testing right now to try flying dragons before everyone else.
