Bloomberg analysts have published a list of applications for the launch of cryptocurrency exchange funds (ETFs), which are most likely to obtain permission from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (Sec).

Eric Balchunas (Eric Balchunas) and James Seyffart predict that the applications of companies for launching ETF, tied to LTC, DOGE, SOL and XRP, have good but different chances of approving the American regulator. The probability of the appearance of the ETF on the XRP is 65%, a little more chances for SOLANA (70%) and Dogecoin (75%). Litecoin (90%) has the greatest probability of the appearance in the US market – they have submitted applications to Canary and Grayscale.

“We have studied applications for the launch of spotal cryptocurrency ETFs. We give relatively high chances of their approval. Basically, we are focused on Litecoin, Solana, XRP and Dogecoin, ”wrote Seyffart on the social network H.

Several control assets, including Canary, Grayscale, 21Shares and Bitwise, have already requested permission from the American regulator to create a spotal ETF tied to XRP. This indicates a strong interest in institutional investors in these products. However, the applications have not yet been approved by SEC.

The SEC case against Ripple has become a serious obstacle to the appearance of spotes ETF on XRP. Earlier, the department accused the company of conducting an unregistered ICO, calling XRP securities. However, later the judge of Analyssa Torres ruled that sales of the XRP retail investors in the secondary market do not violate the laws on securities, after which the asset management companies decided to create the ETF based on XRP.

Seyffart hopes that by the end of 2025 the new target group of SEC, headed by the Commissioner Esther Peirce, will clarify the regulation of the cryptosector, and the trials with industry companies will be completed.

Earlier, Ripple Director General, Brad Garlinghouse, supported the appearance of exchange funds tied to his cryptocurrency. He believes that these investment products will inevitably appear on the market.
