The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) reported today (20) that it has replaced two of its directorates. The finance director, Bianca Nasser, and the legal director, Saulo Puttini, will leave the bank.
“The two executives carried out an intense agenda to modernize the Bank’s project structure and instruments and leave a representative legacy. In their places, the current strategic advisor to the presidency, Lourenço Tigre, and the superintendent of the legal area, Marcelo Vianna Rangel, take over,” the BNDES said in a statement.
According to the bank, Bianca Nasser took over as Chief Financial Officer in 2019 and led challenges such as the restructuring of the sector, allowing the advancement of priority agendas for the BNDES, and the Investor Relations Department, which offered greater dialogue between the bank and its main stakeholders. stakeholders.
The new CFO, Lourenço Tigre, has been with the bank since July 2019 and has more than 25 years of experience in the financial market, working in investment management, mergers & acquisitions and as an executive in the oil sector.
According to the BNDES, Saulo Puttini promoted a broad reformulation of the legal areas in actions such as the review of capital market policies and the creation of a new contracting framework for modeling privatization projects.
His replacement on the Legal Department, Marcelo Vianna Rangel, has been a career employee at BNDES for 24 years, 16 of which as an executive at the Bank. As superintendent, Rangel was responsible for legal services related to capital market operations, project finance structuring, concessions and privatizations.
The new directors appointed will be effective after the governance procedures, including the deliberation by the BNDES’ Board of Directors, scheduled for next month.
