Bobbi Ercoline, the woman from the iconic young Woodstock couple of 1969, who became the cover of the festival’s album and best symbolized the spirit of the concerts given at the time, has died.
Bobbi passed away on Sunday, March 19, with her husband Nick announcing the sad news on Facebook. The Woodstock couple lived together for more than 50 years and have gone down in history with their photo of themselves wrapped in a blanket.
“It is with great sadness that I announce to my family and friends on Facebook that after 54 years together, my beautiful wife, Bobbi, passed away last night surrounded by her family,” Nick Ercoline wrote in his post, adding:
“[Η Μπόμπι] she lived her life well and left this world to a much better place. If you knew her, you loved her. She lived by her saying, ‘Be kind’. She didn’t deserve the nightmare of last year, but she is no longer in physical pain and that gives us comfort.”
It’s with beyond great sadness that I tell my FB family and friends, that after 54 years of life together, of the death…
