The total value of the assets of TEA-IESP (hereinafter Funds) amounted to 1,838 million euros at the end of the fourth quarter of 2021, compared to 1,777 million euros in the previous quarter and 1,698 million euros in the fourth quarter of 2020, as announced today the Bank of Greece.
More specifically, the total deposits of the Funds increased to 310 million euros at the end of the fourth quarter of 2021, compared to 278 million euros in the previous quarter and 212 million euros in the fourth quarter of 2020. The share of deposits in total assets increased to 16.9% compared to 15.6% in the previous quarter and 12.5% in the fourth quarter of 2020.
THE value of the Funds’s investments in debt securities decreased to 712 million euros at the end of the fourth quarter of 2021, compared to 716 million euros in the previous quarter and 739 million euros in the fourth quarter of 2020 and their share in total decreased to 38.8%, compared to 40 , 3% in the previous quarter and 43.5% in the fourth quarter of 2020.
THE value of investments in investment firms increased to 465 million euros from 453 million euros in the previous quarter and 406 million euros in the fourth quarter of 2020 and their share in the total was 25.3% from 25.5% in the previous quarter and 23.9 % in the fourth quarter of 2020.
THE value of the Funds’ holdings in shares and other equity instruments increased to 300 million euros from 285 million euros in the previous quarter and 279 million euros in the fourth quarter of 2020 and their share in the total was 16.3% from 16% in the previous quarter and 16.4% in fourth quarter of 2020.
