The primary result of the state budget in January 2022 was formed at a deficit of 434 million euros from a deficit of 1.6 billion in January 2021, according to the data announced today by the Bank of Greece.
For 2021, the BoG figures show a deficit of 11.8 billion in the primary result of the state budget from 18.9 billion in 2020.
In January 2022, the central government’s cash result showed a deficit of 1.682 billion euros, compared to a deficit of 1.726 billion euros in the corresponding month of 2021.
During this month, the regular budget revenues amounted to 3.157 billion euros, from 3.046 billion euros last year. As for the regular budget expenditures, these amounted to 4.333 billion euros, from 4.366 billion euros in January 2021.
