In the third quarter of 2021, the nominal value of domestic private sector loans, managed by domestic ECtHR and transferred to specialized financial institutions abroad, increased by € 10,446 million, as announced today by the Bank of Greece. .
The total value of loans in this category amounted to 72,200 million euros at the end of the third quarter of 2021, compared to 61,754 million euros in the previous quarter, according to BoG data.
Business loans
At the end of the third quarter of 2021, the nominal value of managed business loans rose to 29,114 million euros from 26,572 million euros at the end of the previous quarter.
More specifically, the nominal value of loans to non-financial corporations (SMEs) increased by 2,536 million euros and amounted to 29,029 million euros at the end of the third quarter of 2021. Of the managed loans to SMEs, amounted to 15,650 million. euro refers to loans to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The nominal value of managed loans to other financial institutions increased by € 5 million to € 85 million at the end of the third quarter of 2021.
Loans to freelancers, farmers and sole proprietors
The nominal value of managed loans to self-employed professionals, farmers and sole proprietors increased by € 3,030 million compared to the previous quarter and stood at € 10,504 million at the end of the third quarter of 2021.
Loans to individuals and private non-profit institutions
The nominal value of managed loans to individuals and private non-profit institutions increased by 4,876 million euros compared to the previous quarter and amounted to 32,583 million euros at the end of the third quarter of 2021. More specifically, managed consumer loans increased by 1,500 million euros and amounted to 15,344 million euros. Managed mortgages increased by 3,369 million euros and amounted to 17,047 million euros.
