The Bank of Greece has provided a new information for the insurance company Societatea de Asigurare-Reasigurare City Insurance SA.
As the BoG notes in a relevant announcement, the Guarantee Fund of Romania (FGA), by posting it on its website, addresses instructions to the claimants following the 9.2.2022 (non-final) decision of the court to start its bankruptcy proceedings. Societatea de Asigurare-Reasigurare City Insurance SA (CITY) and the designation of CITR Company as liquidator.
Based on the decision, the 90-day period is activated, during which the insurance policies issued by CITY remain valid, if they have not expired earlier.
