President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) appears asking a person close to him to move away as he waves to supporters, in Balneário Camboriú (SC), in a video that circulated on social media this weekend.
Several profiles on the internet republished an angle of the images in which the deputy governor of Santa Catarina, Daniela Reinehr (PL), appears in prominence and suggested that it was her to whom the president would have addressed.
“Stay behind, my God in heaven”, says Bolsonaro as he steps towards the crowd, on a strip of sand, next to businessman Luciano Hang, owner of the Havan chain of stores.
The scene was recorded on Saturday (25), during Bolsonaro’s visit to the city, where the president participated in the March for Jesus, a religious event held in the municipality.

Asked about the images, the deputy governor’s adviser informed that Bolsonaro’s request to step aside was addressed to Jorge Seif Júnior, secretary of Aquaculture and Fisheries, linked to the Ministry of Agriculture, between January 2019 and March this year, when he resigned. in charge.
“I prefer to let this other angle recorded at the same moment speak for me,” said Reinehr, through his publicist.
Compare below with the image recorded from the front, contemplating other participants:
“He demonstrates very clearly what happened. Editing videos with biased versions, to distort facts, is not part of the work agenda”, added the deputy governor.
Graduated in business administration, Jorge Seif is part of one of the most traditional fishing families in Santa Catarina, which has been operating for over 40 years with a focus on tuna and sardines. The former secretary claims to be a pre-candidate for the Senate and is currently affiliated with the Liberal Party (PL), the same acronym as President Bolsonaro.
Born in Maravilha, in western Santa Catarina, Daniela Reinehr is a lawyer and farmer. She only turned to politics in 2013, when she joined the Nas Ruas movement and started to lead demonstrations in Chapecó against the Dilma Rousseff (PT) government.
After the president’s impeachment, Reinehr started to support Bolsonaro’s candidacy for the presidency and joined the PSL for the 2018 elections. In June 2020, he wrote a letter in which he broke with Governor Carlos Moisés (Republicans). In the text, she complained about his distance from Bolsonaro and said that she had been isolated from the central actions of the Santa Catarina Executive Power.
THE CNN sought out the former secretary to comment on the episode and awaits a return. We also looked for President Bolsonaro, but he has not responded so far.
