Bolsonaro says he hopes to refine agendas with Biden at a meeting

President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) said that the bilateral meeting with the President of the United States, Joe Biden, this Thursday (9), will serve to deepen the relationship between the two countries, noting that Brazil and the United States are major trading partners and it would be important that they fine-tune their guidelines.

Bolsonaro also said, in an interview with journalists before the meeting that will take place in Los Angeles during the Summit of the Americas, that he has many issues to discuss with Biden, including Brazil’s important role in the global food chain.

Asked about the doubts he raised in the past about alleged fraud in the US elections won by Biden against Donald Trump – of whom he is a declared admirer -, Bolsonaro said that the matter was in the past.

“I didn’t come here to talk about the American elections, that’s in the past,” he said. “US President is now Joe Biden, he’s the one I talk to.”

Last Tuesday (7), Bolsonaro spoke again about suspected fraud in the 2020 US elections during an interview.
