Bolsonaro to meet with Hungarian far-right leader after meeting Putin

President Jair Bolsonaro’s (PL) agenda has been marked by different international commitments at the beginning of 2022. If in January Bolsonaro has turned his attention to meetings in South America, in February he should migrate to the Old World.

Bolsonaro is expected to participate in an official meeting with Vladimir Putin, at the invitation of the Russian president, on February 16, in Moscow, according to the statement. CNN with interlocutors of the federal government.

Also according to government sources, on Wednesday (February 17), the Brazilian president is expected to travel to Budapest, Hungary, where he should participate in an official meeting with the prime minister, Viktor Orbán, leader of the Hungarian extreme right.

The meeting with the Hungarian prime minister is scheduled to take place just over a month and a half before the country’s elections. Viktor Orbán is running for re-election.
