A member of the Brazilian Federal Court of Federal Court (STF) decided yesterday Tuesday to impose a permanent police surveillance on far -right former President Zaich Bolsonaru, who is already on home restriction and bearing an electronic “bracelet”. The judge justified the ruling by referring to his “risk of escape” from the country. In his official document, consulted by the French Agency, Alessandr Ji Morais calls on the police to guarantee a “permanent basis” monitoring of the former head of state and to “develop groups in the management where the defendant is in custody at home”. Judge Morais is chairing the trial of former President Bolsonaru for being said to have led to an attempt to enforce a coup. Its final phase is expected to take place from 2nd to September 12th.
