Boris Johnson he married. The British premier said “yes” to his companion Carrie Symonds during an intimate and completely unexpected ceremony, that it was held on the afternoon of Saturday 29 May, in the Catholic Cathedral of Westminster.

To celebrate, the newlyweds have chosen their home garden, at 10 Downing Street. The few images released portray them looking into each other smiling eyes. Jacket and tie for him, a boho chic-inspired suit for her, who adorned her hair with a flower crown.
The bride’s look suggests a summer-themed party, as told by an unofficial image, released via social media by parliamentarian James Cleverly, who immortalized the new Mrs. Johnson barefoot and her colleague with his shirt rolled up over his arms. In the background, colorful garlands and a table made from hay bales.
Huge congratulations to @carriesymonds and @BorisJohnson on their wedding.

Boris Johnson is the first British Prime Minister to marry in office in a long time: the last one was Lord Liverpool, in 1882. A good first for Johnson, that Carrie should have already married her, but was then forced to postpone due to the pandemic. The announcement of the engagement had come in February 2020, a few months before the birth of the firstborn Wilfred, a year just celebrated, in April.
For the Premier it was the third marriage. The first “yes” he had said to Allegra Owen, his wife from 1987 to 1993, the second a Marina Wheeler, with whom he had four children: Lara, Cassia, Milo and Theodore. The union ended in 2020 (apparently) also because of Symonds, at the time responsible for his party’s communication.
All past. Today they are husband and wife and they couldn’t be happier. They will renew the vows, it is rumored, in the summer of 2022, to celebrate in style with friends and relatives. For now, what matters is that they have succeeded in making their dream come true.
