Boris Johnson: Motion of censure against the British Prime Minister by two Conservative MPs

Letter to the 1922 Committee of their party, requesting a vote on impeachment motion against Boris Johnson Conservative MPs Chris Skidmore and Tom Hunt submitted today, as Britain’s prime minister faces mounting calls for his resignation.

In his letter, Skidmore calls for changes to Conservative Party rules to allow a new impeachment motion against the Prime Minister, after his landslide victory in the previous impeachment vote in June granted him immunity for 12 months from the deposition of another.

“Therefore it is vital that the 1922 (Committee) urgently review the rules preventing a new vote on a motion of censure“, noted Skidmore as reported by the Athens News Agency.

The events of the last week were the final straw“, Tom Hunt noted at the same time, referring to the way he handled the Boris Johnson the allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior against the former deputy head of party discipline Christopher Pincher, and announced that he had also submitted a letter to the relevant committee for a motion of impeachment against the prime minister.
