EU High Representative Josep Borrell met with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoγlu in Stockholm on the sidelines of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Ministerial Council.
The need to avoid tensions in the Eastern Mediterranean and the progress in resolving the Cyprus issue were among the topics discussed, according to Josep Borrell in a twitter post.
More specifically, he notes: “First meeting on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council with Mevlüt Çavuşoλουlu to discuss pressing bilateral and regional issues, including Belarus and Ukraine. Need to avoid tensions in the Eastern Mediterranean & progress to the Mediterranean.”
