Boticário Group announces acquisition of Truss Professional, hair care products

Grupo Boticário announced this Thursday (3rd) the acquisition of Truss Professional, a national brand that operates in the hair products segment. The value of the deal was not disclosed.

In a statement, the company says that the acquisition accelerates Grupo Boticário’s growth agenda and, at the same time, reinforces the company’s multichannel and multibrand strategy.

“This acquisition offers us an opportunity to accelerate our growth strategy in Brazil and abroad, leveraging our vision of building the best and largest beauty ecosystem for the world. With the operation, we amplified our multi-channel and multi-brand strategy, creating a portfolio of relevant and complementary brands, in addition to providing an even more complete journey for the consumer”, highlights in the note Fernando Modé, CEO of Grupo Boticário.

The conclusion of the transaction is subject to the fulfillment of some usual conditions precedent and the approval of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade).
