Sarah Huberdeau, an employee of The Home Depot in New Hampshire, United States, found a Woody doll in the parking lot of the premises and gave it to the Customer Service department hoping that some child would ask for it.
Seeing that no one had claimed it, Sarah began a campaign on social networks, sharing photos of Woody while he went through his workday and earned the employee of the month appointment.
After a few days, a woman contacted Sarah to request that the doll be returned to her son Desmond, who lost the doll during a visit to the store. The reunion was beautiful, because the two-year-old did not hesitate to hug Woody and even reunited him with his best friend Buzz Lightyear.
Woody brought happiness down every hall
Personally attended clients
He even welcomed them
Solved HR issues
He behaved like a leader
He was named employee of the month
But the best thing was the reunion with his owner
There’s nothing like being home
