The Ceará Civil Police concluded that Rickson Livio tried to fake the suicide of his partner, the mayor of Juazeiro do Norte, Yanny Brena (PL), while she was still alive.
On the last day 3, the two were found dead in the residence where they lived. The two were holding hands. Yanny would have ended the relationship with the man days before.
The expert report, released on Thursday (23), pointed out that Yanny was killed by her boyfriend, who later committed suicide.
In a note, the Civil Police reported that Rickson had a criminal record for illegal possession of a firearm.
According to the investigation, Rickson’s genetic material was found under Yanny’s fingernails. During the action, the woman reportedly received a “male lion” blow and became unconscious.
She was then taken to the property’s room, where she was placed in incomplete suspension. The traces analyzed by the expert also indicate that there were no signs of a break-in at the residence, which could indicate the presence of a third person at the scene.
Yanny Brena Alencar Araújo was a doctor and was the first woman to chair the City Council of Juazeiro do Norte, in her first term as councilwoman. She was the sister of federal deputy Yury do Paredão (PL).
Rickson Pinto was from Natal (RN), and they had been dating since 2020. The young man had a daughter from a previous relationship. He also participated in vaquejadas and posted records of events on social networks.
