Brad Pitt gives film details about the backstage of Formula 1; check out

Last weekend, actors Brad Pitt and Damson Idris were present at the Silverstone Circuit, in the United Kingdom, for the filming of a new film about Formula 1, still without the name officially disclosed.

In an interview with former driver Martin Brundle, from the “Sky Sports” channel, as published by “Variety” magazine, Brad thanked him for the wide access he had behind the scenes of the race.

“It’s all great. The ‘vibe’ is incredible, being able to be part of it and tell our story. The teams opened their doors to us,” he began.

In the sequence, the star took the opportunity to give details of the plot. “I play a guy who raced in Formula 1 in the 1990s. He had a horrible accident and disappeared from the map. Years later, he starts racing in other categories. His friend, played by Javier Bardem, who owns a team, contacts him. They are last placed, they are always at the back of the grid, they have never scored a point”, he explained.

“But, they have a young phenom, played by Damson Idris, and they bring me in as sort of the last card. I can say it’s amazing. There are cameras mounted all over the car, you’ve never seen speed, you’ve never seen just the g-forces like here. It’s very, very exciting,” he added.

Finally, Brad still extolled the collaboration of Formula 1 professionals. “Lewis [Hamilton] he is our producer and he insisted that we respect the sport and show it exactly as it is”, he pointed out.

“As a civilian, I had no idea what it took to be a pilot, the adrenaline and the skill. They are athletes and I have enormous respect for them all.”
