Braille teacher helps one of his students put on makeup on her own

For most people, performing any daily activity such as bathing, brushing teeth or applying cream is quite easy. However, for those with physical disabilities, doing things for themselves is a big step toward independence.

But all this would not be possible without the help of the people around them, as more and more people seek inclusion in society. A clear example is this braille teacher, who, after one of her blind students told him that she wanted to start putting on makeup, made it possible with this brilliant idea.

Through his losojosdejoan accounts, both on TikTok and Instagram, this Mexican teacher is responsible for publishing videos in which he shares information about the braille language, as well as the inclusion of people with different abilities in society.

A video that attracted attention on networks and went viral was in which, by way of reflection, he commented that most makeup products have similar packaging and that the only way to know its color is to see it. Something that would be practically impossible for people with blindness to use. During the video you can see how the teacher adapts some cosmetics so that a girl in her class could do her own makeup.

Have you ever noticed that almost all makeup products can only be differentiated if you see the color? This may not be a problem for you, but it is for visually impaired people.

During the video, she narrates that her student Rebeca has to ask other people for help to put on makeup, since she cannot distinguish colors. So he decided to braille the products so she could easily read and identify them.

The clip where he adapted the makeup for his student was a success, so the comments did not stop coming. Although many were positive, applauding her noble gesture, there were others who questioned why a blind person would wear makeup and how she would do it.

For this reason, the teacher published a second part, in which he answered the questions of the users and with the help of a video of a girl named Valeria, he showed how a visually impaired person puts on makeup.
