Chinese sources have published photos of the new Chery Tiggo 8 Pro crossover, which will receive an all-wheel drive system and a large screen multimedia entertainment system.
The new Chery Tiggo 8 Pro received a gray body with red accents on the doors and front bumper. Presumably, this is a sports version, which is also indicated by four exhaust pipes. The inscription AWD on the fifth door of the crossover confirms that this is an all-wheel drive version, while China already has all-wheel drive Tiggo 8 and Tiggo 8 Plus. The photo shows daytime running lights integrated into the grille, as well as fog lights.
The interior of the new car resembles the interior of the brand new Chery Omoda 5 crossover. It uses a new design of the dashboard, steering wheel and central tunnel. The main differences are the gear selector and the center console screen, which consists of two screens in one housing and is slightly turned towards the driver. The salon is made in gray and brown colors.
The car will be equipped with one of two ACTECO engines, including the 1.6-liter engine familiar to us from the Exeed TXL. In China, its power is 197 hp. The older version has a volume of 2 liters and a power of 254 hp. Both motors work with a robotic box.
Reception of pre-orders in China will begin in April this year.
